2.Who is Peter? What did he find? According to Christian tradition, Peter was crucified in Rome under Emperor Nero. He is traditionally counted as the first Bishop of Rome‍—‌or pope‍—‌and also by Eastern Christian tradition as the first Patriarch of Antioch.

Old Kasper took the “large, and smooth, and round” thing from his grandson's hands and shook his head with a sigh as he figured that it was some “poor fellow's skull” who had died in the war.
