Three Elements of Art

Shape - The placement of the elements creates an imaginary triangle with an 'Angry' Christ at the Center

Color - The artist heavily use the color of red, yellow, and white, which are the colors of fire. It suggests that the fire symbolizes the anger of Christ because of fighting between the Christians denomination.

Value - You'll notice that not all areas of the artwork are given enough light.

Two Principles of Art

Emphasis - The Artist uses Color and Value to emphasize the hands and the burning heart of Christ.

Balance - The composition of the artwork is in Symmetrical Balance.

The message of the Artwork

The artist wants to relay the message that Christ is Angry at the different denominations of Christianity because of their arguments of which is the right religion. In Truth, Christ is the only way to heaven as it is written: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
