Explain with diagrams how snakes move

Snakes will push off of any bump or other surface, rocks, trees, etc., to get going. They move in a wavy motion. They would not be able to move over slick surfaces like glass at all. This movement is also known as lateral undulation.

Which body features help the bird fly?

Birds have hollow bones that are very light and strong.

Their feathers are light and the shape of their wings is perfect for catching the air.

Their lungs are great at getting oxygen and very efficient, so they can fly for very long distances without getting tired.

They eat lots of high-energy food.

Write a short note on the human skeleton

The human skeleton is the internal framework of the human body. It is composed of around 270 bones at birth – this total decreases to around 206 bones by adulthood after some bones get fused together. ... The axial skeleton is formed by the vertebral column, the rib cage, the skull and other associated bones.

Explain the body features of a cockroach which enable it to move and fly.

The body and legs of cockroaches have hard coverings forming an outer skeleton. The muscles of the breast connected with three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings help the cockroach to walk and fly. Strong muscles and light bones work together to help the birds fly.
