The most dense rainforest in the world which is the amazon rainforest,is situated in the southwest part of the Brazil. Due to the extremely dense forest lands ,the transportation is very difficult to perform in this region.

The railway was concentrated in the southeast region in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, with expansion in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul , south including the state of Paraná and in the northeast in the states of Bahia, Pernambuco and Sergipe.
