Given :   Sides of triangles

To find : Which can be measurement of sides

Solution:

Sum of any two side of triangles is greater than third side

6 , 4 , 8

6 + 4  = 10 > 8

6  + 8 = 14 > 4

4 + 8 = 12  > 6

Hence 6 , 4 , 8 can be side of triangle

8 , 10 , 18

8 + 10 = 18   = 18   ( not greater than )

Hence  8 , 10 , 18 can not be sides of triangles

3 , 4  , 10

3 + 4 = 7 < 10

Hence 3 , 4 , 10 can not be sides of triangle

35 , 38 , 40

35 + 38 > 40

35 + 40 > 38

38 + 40 > 35

Hence 35 , 38 & 40 can be sides of triangle
