Earthquake is the worst condition not associated with water. Earthquake is caused by the sudden movement on rocks underground and the sudden release of energy. The seismic waves travel from underground to the crust and in whole this travel , causes movement of land , called as earthquake. During this procedure, two plates strikes against each other. The device by which earthquake can be measured or seismic waves can be measured, is seismograph. This device helps in measuring the pressure of seismic waves. So, that we can take precautions before earthquake strikes.
