Kerosene is not a solid fuel.

Extra - Kerosene is a product obtained from Petroleum through Fractional Distillation. In this process petroleum is heated in a long cylindrical tube till it vaporizes. Plates are attached to this tube horizontally. So the fractions with higher boiling points settle at the bottom plates whereas the fractions with the lower boiling points settle at the top plates. Other fractions of petroleum are Diesel, Petrol, etc.
