Solution :-

1)

→ Two numbers have 7 as a common factor = Multiples of 7 have 7 as a common factor . Ex. (7, 14), (14, 21) and (21, 28) etc .

2)

We know that,

  • A common factor is a number that can divide two or more numbers, without leaving a remainder .

So ,

→ 20 ÷ 1 = Remainder 0

→ 20 ÷ 2 = Remainder 0

→ 20 ÷ 4 = Remainder 0

→ 20 ÷ 5 = Remainder 0

→ 20 ÷ 10 = Remainder 0

→ 20 ÷ 20 = Remainder 0

then,

→ factors of 20 are = 1, 2, 4, 5, 10 and 20 .

similarly,

→ 25 ÷ 1 = Remainder 0

→ 25 ÷ 5 = Remainder 0

→ 25 ÷ 25 = Remainder 0

then,

→ factors of 25 are = 1, 5 and 25

therefore,

→ Common factors of 20 and 25 are = 1 and 5.

Also, GCF(greatest common factor) of 20 and 25 is 5 .

3)

→ First common multiples of 3 and 5 = 3 * 5 = 15

→ Second common multiples of 3 and 5 = 15 * 2 = 30

→ Third common multiples of 3 and 5 = 15 * 3 = 45
