2. The Dragon was a coward. They all teased him as he was coward and always cried for a nice safe cage.belinda would laugh till she shook the house. all three asked his age when custard cried for a nice safe cage in a rude manner.

by this way the passed their time altogether..

3. it is a light hearted poem. it is because the characters are depicted with a rhyming and funny names. we have poetic licenses to match with the rhythm of the poem.there is also an irony mentioned at the end if the poem. so we can say that it is a light hearted poem.

4. Custard cried for a nice safe cage as he was a coward. He demanded a safe place to live as he wanted to be in a protected place.

5. when the pirate sneaked into the house through the window everyone was frightened. All the characters who were depicted in this poem as brave now fled but custard bravely entered the scene and gobbled up the pirate. By this he showed that he was a brave dragon.
