Answer:
1.A- On December 11, 1946, the Assembly elected Dr Rajendra Prasad as its permanent Chairman. The Constituent Assembly set up 13 committees for framing the constitution including a Drafting Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
2.A- India's economy developed leaps and bounds since Independence. Following are some of the major achievements of India's economic progress:
1. India is world's fastest growing economy.
2. India is the sixth largest economy of the world and is supposed to become fifth largest economy in the current year.
3. India has also achieved great heights in agriculture and is one of the major countries in export of agricultural products. India's food grain production doubled since 1950s.
4. India has also progressed in manufacturing sector and also exports its manufacturing products all over the world. Indian Industrialists and business tycoons all trading all over the world.
5. India also developed its transport system on modern lines throughout the length and breadth of country.
6. There was tremendous increase in national Income and per capita income. The Nominal GDP of India is $2.61 trillion. As per the World bank estimates, the average income of each citizen increased 21 times from $81.3 (Rs 1,705) in 1960 to $1709.4 (Rs 1,14,530) in 2016.
7. India has also progressed in IT sector and digitization.
8. India is also the favorite destination for foreign investments because of its economic growth.
