- Harold was the hornbill. Caesar used to peck his beak on Harold's big feet and would perch upon his cage.
- the writer did not cage Caesar because - the Caesar got angry and flapped his wings fiercely. on seeing Caesar's bewildering behavior the writer thought for the love of peace of his mind he thought it was better to release him and not put him in cage.
