Sri Narayan Guru was born in 1856 in Kerala. He hailed from Ezhava community of kerala. He believed in oneness of god. He studied sanskrit and worked for the upliftment of society and subordinate castes. In those days. They were not allowed to enter temples. He picked up a Stone from the river and built a temple. On the temple 's gate it was written that here is place where all people live in Fratenity without caste distinction and religious rivalry.. He preached his slogan of one caste , one religion, one good for all men. He passed away in 1928.
