2) Abdul Kalam father motivated and encouraged him on his decision of leaving house, but his mother was upset with his decision.

3) Abdul Kalam's father said that he knew Kalam had to go away to "Grow" and follow his dreams. He gave the analogy of a seagull that lies across the sun alone , without a nest.
