5 name 2 petroleum deposits in India
Answers
Answer:
1. So we can use the minerals in generation and it will not be loose.
2. Mettalic metals can be attract by a Magnet while Non Mettalic minerals are can't be attract by a Magnet.
Sorry for my answer because that was my own idea only... Thank you.
1. Mineral resources should be conserved because the geological process of mineral formation is quite slow due to which the rate of replenishment is infinitely small whereas the rate of consumption is quite high. Mineral resources found on the earth surface are limited in number and are exhaustible.
2.Metallic Minerals are minerals in which metal elements are present in their raw form. Non-metallic minerals do not contain any metal substances in them. Metallic minerals are good conductors of electricity as well as heat. Non-metallic minerals are basically good insulators of electricity and heat.
3. Generally, mineral exploration involves percussion and rotary drilling to produce rock chips and samples of core. Drilling is used to obtain detailed information about rock types, mineral content, rock fabric, and the relationship between the rock layers close to the surface and at depth.
4 .Coal deposits are primarily found in eastern and south-central India. Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh accounted for almost 70% of the total known coal reserves in India.
5. Reserves. As of 31 March 2019, India had estimated crude oil reserves of 618.95 million tonnes (MT), increasing by 4.1% from the previous year. The largest reserves are found in the Western Offshore (Mumbai High, Krishna-Godavari Basin) (40%), and Assam (27%).
