1. Water is an essential public facility that needs to be provided for everyone without considering the aspect of profit or loss. But , the private companies operate mainly for profit notion. They hardly care whether the product is with in the reach of every person or not. This is the reason why there are few cases of private water supply in the world.

2. Most all the private hospitals and private schools are located in major cities and not in towns or rural areas because :-

(i) People in major cities can afford to send your children in private schools of get treatment in private hospitals.

(ii) In cities people lead a busy life where they prefer to get their work done fast by taking appointments in spite of standing in long queues in Government schools or hospitals.

(ii) Various facilities like transportation, electricity ,water supply are easily available in major cities in comprison to towns or rural areas.
