Since iron is more reactive than cu it displaces cu from its salt solution i.e. copper sulphate and form ferrous sulphate which is pf green colour.It is displacement reaction.

Ex of double displacement reaction-

Barium chloride+sodium sulfate= barium sulphate +sodium chloride

Silver chloride + sodium sulphate =silvr sulphate + sodium chloride.

Reaction Between silver nitrate (AgNO3) and Sodium chloride (NaCl) is an example of double displacement reaction. During the reaction negative and positive ions trade positions as a result in the formation of white silver chloride precipitate. The chemical reaction is given below.

Ag+ + NO3– + Na+ + Cl– → AgCl + Na+ + NO3–
