It represents the needs of the people. It does not depend on the whims of the ruler. or the dictator but on the consensus of the people.
Democracy is based on negotiation and deliberations which improves the quality of decision making.

Democracy provides peaceful solution to every problem and provides room for correction. lt tries to accommodate social diversities in a very wise and effective manner.
