Explanation:

Soil is regarded as non-renewable resource because it take a lot of time in the formation of soil. The rocks take million of years to break down into soil.

Weathering is the process of breaking down of rocks, minerals and other materials by action of continuously changing weather on earth which leads to formation of soil. In other words, it is a natural process which is not performed by man. So breaking of rocks to make roads is not a natural process.

when soil is formed it could not get formed again but the weathring of rocks to make soil will take billions of years to form so when we will have very less soil it would take billion of years to form only2.5 cm of soil
