pinna-carries sound waves to the auditory canals.
cochlea-the spiral cavity of the inner ear containing the organ of corti, which produces nerve impulses.
ear canal(auditory canal)-carries sound waves to the tympanum.small hair and wax present inside the canal helps to prevent dust and foreign  particles entering ear.
ear drum(tympanum)-a thin circular membrane that separates external ear from the middle ear.it vibrates in resonance with sound wave.
malleus, incus stapes-parts of ear ossicles. through vibration of stapes cochlear fluid.
auditory nerve-carries impulses to cerebrum.
eustachian tube-connects middle ear and pharynx.helps in maintaining balance of pressure on either side of tympanum
