1a) If we use elastic measuring tape the tape will expand and show the wrong measuring the size.

2a) 1.65 metres = 165 centimeters.

2b) 1.65 = 1650 millimeters.

3) 3250 meters = 3.25 kilometers.

4) They cannot be used as SI unit of length because if we want to measure a road which is soooo long then we cannot measure it with a footstep or pace, we can easily measure it by meters (the SI unit of length).
