When an acid and a base reacts, you get water and salt. These are essentially pH neutral and cause no harm to the teeth.

2) Carbonic acid is considered an inorganic acid because of the structure of the molecule. Usually organic compounds contains carbons and hydrogens but at least one hydrogen is bonded to a carbon. For carbonic acid, none of the hydrogen bonds to the central carbon thus carbonic acid is an inorganic compound.

2. Because carbonic acid and acetic acid are mild acids as the acids are sour in taste they are used to increase the taste of food.
