Answer:

1. Babur started for Lahore, Punjab, in 1524 but found that Daulat Khan Lodi had been driven out by forces sent by Ibrahim Lodi. When Babur arrived at Lahore, the Lodi army marched out and was routed. ... He defeated them and drove Alam's army off, and Babur realised Lodi would not allow him to occupy the Punjab.

2.The name Mughal or Moghul is a corruption of the Persian word for Mongol, the Central Asian tribe after whom Mongolia is named. The Mughals originated in Central Asia, and were descended from the Mongol ruler Jenghiz Khan and Timur (Tamburlaine), the great conqueror of Asia.

3. He ruled the area of Northern India and the plain of Ganges River. His reign brought about a decrease in slavery but promoted trade with Persia and Europe. Consequently, the Empire also had a lot of Persian cultural influence. Babur took his last breath in the year 1530 and died at the age of 47.

1) Ibrahim Lodi was the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty. Babur was a ruler in the Central Asia which was a very small principality. He always wanted to conquer a bigger empire in the Central Asia. He was highly attracted towards India- because of its wealth. Due to the death of Sikander Lodi, the dynasty had become unstable because of his failures, and Ibrahim Lodi was not able to handle. This gave a opportunity to Babur who got many invitations by other rulers. Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodi at the First Battle of Panipat, he established the Mughal rule in India.

2) Mughal empire got its name from the term 'Mongols' because they were decescents of Genghis khan who was the ruler of Mongols from maternal side and decescents of Timur from paternal side.

3) Babur established the Mughal empire but soon died after 4 years. In this period, he conquered and captured most parts of Central Asia. After getting victory at 1st Battle of Panipat, he conquered Delhi and Agra. He also defeated many Rajputs like Rana Sabha, etc and captured their forts like in Gwalior. He captured and expanded the empire mostly in the North of the Indian subcontinent and some parts of Central Asia.
