Answer:

1.The idea is to cover your mouth when you cough (or sneeze) so the germs in your body are not propelled into the air or across the room, which could make others sick.

2.Potato chip bags are not full of air, but of nitrogen gas. This is done to prevent the chips from oxidizing, which is part of what makes them go stale. Oxygen is very reactive, and likes to combine with other molecules whenever it can, causing chemical changes to take place.

3.Frequent and inappropriate use of antibiotics can cause bacteria or other microbes to resist the effects of antibiotic treatment. This is called bacterial resistance or antibiotic resistance. Treating these resistant bacteria requires higher doses of medicine or stronger antibiotics.

4.In summers the temperature is optimum for the multiplication of the Lactobacillus ( bacteria that converts milk into curd) than in winters. Under these favorable conditions, the Lactobacillus multiplies very fast and produces more lactic acid which coagulates milk proteins and thus converts milk into curd.

5.Salt and sugar's other antimicrobial mechanisms include interference with a microbe's enzyme activity and weakening the molecular structure of its DNA. Sugar may also provide an indirect form of preservation by serving to accelerate accumulation of antimicrobial compounds from the growth of certain other organisms.

Explanation:

1)We should keep a handkerchief on nose and mouth while sneezing so the germs in your body are not propelled into the air or across the surrounding , which could make others sick.

2) Nitrogen gas is a inert gas,and it is filled in chips packets because oxygen is highly reactive,so this means it likes to combine with other molecules , which may result in food spoilage or losing it's freshness and intake of such food may bad for our health .So, by using Nitrogen gas our shelf life is extended.

3) Antibiotics should not be overused because

Antibiotics are a kind of drugs which are used to destroy bacteria growing inside our body . Excessive use of antibiotics is harmful for our body .Due to overuse of antibiotics our body develops resistance and antibiotics will be of waste.

4)Curds turns sour faster in summer than in winter because during winter temperatures is low which results in slow growth of lactobacillus bacteria crucial for curd.... constantly . lactobacillus create more lactic acid in the summer as compare to winter.
