1. Why would life not be possible on the earth in the absence of photosynthesis?
2. Give reasons for the following:

(b) Sun is the ultimate source of energy for all living organisms.
(c) The leaf of a plant dies out if its stomata are blocked.
(d) Leaf is known as the food factory of the plant.

1)If photo synthesis does not happens.. The living organisms will not get food and will die... Therefore life would not be possible on Earth in the absence of photosynthesis...

a) Mushroom is a saprotroph because it feeds on dead and decaying organisms.

b)Sun is ultimate source of energy because it provides sunlight for plants for photosynthesis.

c) The leaf of the plants die if it's stomata are blocked because carbon dioxide enters the leaf through stomata which is essential for the process of photosynthesis.

d) Leaf is known as food factory because it prepares the food for all living organisms by the process of photosynthesis.

e) Because fungus provide shelter for algae in return algae prepares food by the process of photosynthesis..
