Sir,
Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the government authorities as well as the citizens of the country on the increasing problem of obesity.
The major reason for this is the lack of concern of the people about their health. They consume high amounts of energy, particularly fats and sugar but they do not do any physical activity to burn off that fat, this in turn leads to obesity. In order to reduce this problem, the people have to understand the importance of being fit, they have to make a balanced diet for themselves with adequate amount of all the nutrients,they should know various ways to make their food healthier and should do exercise regularly to make themselves healthy and fit then only we will be able to make our country free of obesity.
