Answer:

(x2-2x-8)

Explanation:

~sum of zeros = 2

~product of zeros = -8

formula to find the quadratic polynomial

k(x2 -sx+p)

k{x2 -2x +(-8)}

k (x2 -2x -8)

let k be 1

Answer:

x^2-2x+8

Explanation:

let alpha , beta be the 2 roots

we know that

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - b \div a \\  \\  \alpha  \beta  = c + \div a

given:

 \alpha   +  \beta  = 2 \\  \alpha  \beta  =  8

so after applying the formula we get

a=1,b= -2 , c=8

therefore the equation will be

ax {}^{2}   + bx + c

after applying the values we get

x^2-2x+8
