3)the sum of two integers is 30. if one of the integers is -42, then find the other.

6)subtract (i) (-6) from 4. (ii) (-4) and (-11). (iii) (2) and (-5)

-8, - 7, - 6, - 5, - 4, - 3

2)-20, - 6, - 5, - 1, 0, 4, 9

3) Sum of two integers=30

If one integer is - 42

The other is

-42+x=30

x= 30+42

x= 72

So the integer is 72.
