6) The chromosomes are found in the nucleus.

Functions- Chromosomes carry genes, the unit of inheritance, which means that they transfer characteristics from parents to offspring.

9) Weeds are wild herbs that harm crops. we can control weeds by tilling method.

1) Manures are obtained from natural sources, whereas fertilisers are synthetically manufactured in the factories.

II) Manures are eco-friendly, whereas fertilisers harm the useful microbes present in the soil and also decrease the soil fertility .

3) Coke is a dull, black byproduct of coal that burns hotter and cleaner.

USES OF COKE-

→ The most common use of coke is as a fuel for stoves, furnaces and blacksmithing. It is sometimes preferred over coal because burning coke produces very little smoke.

→ Coke is used to manufacture steel and many other materials.

→ It is also used to produce iron in a blast furnace.

4) A heap of green leaves contains a lot of moisture in it, hence its ignition temperature is high. Therefore, it does not catch fire easily. But dry leaves have no moisture content in it, hence its ignition temperature is low. Therefore, it catches fire easily.

5) Trees and Plants absorb water from earth through the roots. This water goes back into the atmosphere through transpiration(evaporation of water through leaves). This water vapour later leads to rain. If plants and trees are cut, then less water will evaporate in the atmosphere, which leads to reduced rainfall.

6) Chromosomes are thread-like structures located inside the nucleus of animal and plant cells. They carry genes and help in inheritance or transfer of characters from parents to offspring.

7) They both are cleanest burning fuels of all fossil fuels.

→ They are less polluting, non-corrosive

→ These are easily available and have affordable cost.

→ They can be sent through pipes easily.

8) These nitrogen compounds mix with the soil and increase the fertility of soil. Some bacteria like rhizobium and blue green algae are able to fix nitrogen gas from the atmosphere to enrich the soil with nitrogen compounds and increase its fertility.bacteria digest the waste material which act as manure.

9) The undesirable plants that grow along with the crops are called weeds.

It can be controlled by using herbicides, insecticides and fungicides by spraying them on the crops.Weeds can also be removed by cutting them down.

10) Zygote and Foetus are the two different terminologies, which refers to the developmental stages inside the mother’s womb or uterus.

Zygote is a unicellular structure.

Foetus is a multicellular structure.

zygote is the initial stage in baby development. It is also known as a fertilized ovum formed from the union of the sperm cell and the egg cell. Foetus refers to the final stage in baby development. An embryo is termed as the foetus in the beginning in the 11th week of pregnancy.

I KNOW IT'S TOO LONG BUT YOU HAVE TO STUDY AND OF COURSE THEY ARE SO EASY AND UNDERSTANDABLE !
