1 (ii) Jallianwala bagh massacre is known for the cruelness of general Dyer. Jallianwala bagh is present in the Amritsar which is now treated as the "memorial of a national importance".

At the time when the India is in the control of the General Dyer when people are not allowed to gathering on the public place because the British government think that because of this type of gathering people can inspire for the revolt against British government as like in 1857 and that's why the British government ban the public gathering in the public places but on the date 13 April 1919 people are gathered on the place name as Jallianwala Bagh but cruel general Dyer lock all the entrance of the garden and order to open fire because of that many peoples lost their lives in this incident ,and this incident is known as a Jallianwala bagh massacre.
