i) A kite is flying at a height of 225 m in the sky={ \boxed {\red{ + 225}}}

ii) A whale is at a depth of 1250 m in the ocean. {\boxed{ \red{ - 1250}}}

iii) The temperature in Sahara desert is 12°C below freezing temperature={ \boxed{ \red{ - 12}}}

iv) Ravi withdrawn 3800 from ATM using his debit card={ \boxed {\red{  +  3800}}}

2. Justify the following statements with an example.

i) A positive integer is always greater than a negative integer. True

For example:- 1 > -2

ii) All positive integers are natural numbers. True because natural numbers are those which starts from 1 so all positive integers are natural numbers.

iii) Zero is greater than a negative integer. True Zero is greater than negative integers 0 > -1, zero is a whole number and it is neither positive nor negative but considered as greater than negative integers.

iv) There exist infinite integers in the number system. True

For example:x Fibd tge rational numbers between 1 and 2, so there are infinite rational number like 1/, 2/1, 3/1, 4/1...............

v) All whole numbers are integers. False

Whole numbers start from zero but integers include postive as well as negative numbers, so not all the whole numbers are integers but all the integers are whole number.
