Law of conservation of mass states that " Mass is neither created nor destroyed throughout the chemical reaction." Precautions to be followed while performing experiment: ---->The spring balance should be held vertical while measuring values. ---->Make sure the spring balance pointer is at zero mark.

Law of chemical combination

Mass of reactant = Mass of product

Mass can naider be created nor be destroyed

1. No other gas or substances should take part in chemical reaction.

2. Mass of reactants and mass or product should be precisely measured ( a minute change in mass can misbalanc the reaction)

3. Mass of reactants should be exactly equal to mass of product.
