1.Calcium hydroxide, also called slaked lime, Ca(OH)2, is obtained by the action of water on calcium oxide. When mixed with water, a small proportion of it dissolves, forming a solution known as limewater, the rest remaining as a suspension called milk of lime.

2One molecule of methane, (the [g] referred to above means it is gaseous form), combined with two oxygen molecules, react to form a carbon dioxide molecule, and two water molecules usually given off as steam or water vapor during the reaction and energy.

3.When lead powder is added to copper chloride solution, a displacement reaction occurs and solid copper is formed.

4.When the solutions of sodium sulphate and barium chloride are mixed a white precipitate is formed which is insoluble in HCl. ... This confirms the presence of sulphate (SO4)2- ions. Reaction: BaCl2(aq) + Na2SO4(s) → BaSO4(s) + NaCl(aq) 1.
