Their mother is a doctor with her clinic. Mr. Nath, the principal character and who lives in Shankar’s house alone, is under her treatment. Ramesh takes tea and meals from the restaurant to Nath’s room. Nath pays cash and also tips to the bearer well.

The children go ahead to collect information about Nath. They think Mr Nath is a mysterious person. He has no friend there. Nishad has a bit of sympathy for Nath. His approach in this case is sensible.

The lesson is a story of two young detectives who were inquisitive about a man who was polite, a recluse with health problems. Nishad’s mother, a doctor by profession knew the man as a patient.

Expert Detectives Part 1 Summary of the Lesson

The opening lines are conversations between Maya and Seven. Seven’s real name was Nishad and was seven years old whereas Maya was a ten years old girl. There lived a person with suspicious activities.

They were curious to know about him. The person might be a poor or a crook on the run. Nishad was apprehensive but for Maya, he was the culprit he must have hid the treasure.

When she talked about the visitor to be the accomplice of Mr. Nath, Nishad reiterated that he didn’t like her idea. He talked about generosity for paying tips to Ramesh. The narrator persistently accused him of hiding and birding.

Constant nagging about Mr. Nath infuriated Nishad. He did not want Mr. Nath to be a victim of circumstances that made him a recluse. The thought led to an argument and Nishad went out without surrendering to the ideas of the narrator.
