1. Even in the economic sphere we find diversity and variation. All people do not have uniform income and economic standard. Over 65% of people in India are suffering from poverty who do not even get two square meals a day. ... Thus, economic diversity in India has different shades with people of diverse Income.

• Also known as DIVERSIFICATION
• It refers to the great variations found in economic status of people in a country.

2) POLITICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL UNITY OF INDIA

a) GEOGRAPHY UNITY

• Himalayas in the north and oceans in the other three sides of the country completely separating India from rest of the Countries.
• Many rivers in India such as Ganga ,Yumuna , Saraswati are considered as scared and worshipped all over India also give the sense of geographical unity .

b) POLITICAL UNITY

• India is the largest democracy in the world , inspite of having diversity in languages ,culture , races, castes etc
• A strong political will which get manifested in the form of political parties ,agendas, election and governance ,is the bedrock of our existence as a nation.
