Hello,
1/x-1-1/x+5 =6/7;
7(x+5)-7(x-1)/7(x-1)(x+5)=6
(x-1)(x+5)/7(x-1)(x+5);
7(x+5)-7(x-1)=6(x-1)(x+5);
7x+35-7x+7=6(x²+5x-x-5);
42=6(x²+4x-5);
42=6x²+24x-30;
-6x²-24x+42+30=0;
-6x²-24x+72=0;
6x²+24x-72=0;
x²+4x-12=0
x²+4x=12;
x²+4x+4=12+4;
x²+4x+4=16;
usin the identity (a+b)²=a²+2ab+b², we get:
(x+2)²=16
x+2=√16 or x+2=-√16;
x+2=4 or x+2=-4;
x=4-2 or x=-4-2;
x=2 or x=-6

Bye :-)
