The roots of equation are 20 and 3 .

Solving Equation - 1/x - 1/8-x = 2/15

=> ( (8-x) - x) / ( x(8-x) ) = 2/15

=> ( 8 - 2x )/ (8x - x²) = 2/15

=> 120-30x = 16x - 2x²

=> 2x²-46x +120 = 0

=> x²-23x +60 = 0

For the quadratic equation x²-23x+60 , a = 1 , b= -23 , c= 60

D= b²-4ac

=> 529-240

=> 289

Using the formula (-b +-(√D))/2a to find the roots

Roots = (-b +-(√D))/2a

=> (23+-(17)) / 2

=> (23+17)/2 , (23-17)/2

=> 20,3

The roots of the quadratic equation are 20 and 3.
