1+x = √2(1-x)
1+x = √2 - √2x
x(1+√2) = √2 - 1
x = √2 -1 / √2 + 1
x = (√2 -1)*(√2-1)/(√2+1)(√2-1)
x = √2^2 + 1 - 2√2 / 2 -1
x = 2 + 1 - 2√2 / 1
x = 3 -2√2/1
x = 3-2√2
