 {(1 - x)}^{ - 2}  \\   \\  =    \frac{1}{ {(1 - x)}^{ 2} }  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2}  + 1 - 2x}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  +  \frac{1}{1}   -  \frac{1}{2x}  \\  \\  =  {x}^{ - 2}  + 1 - 2 {x}^{ - 1}
