Step-by-step explanation:

1.) multiply each term of first bracket with both the term of second bracket I.e multiply x of first bracket with x and 2 of second bracket then multiply 4 of first bracket with x and 2 second bracket

So, it will be x² + 2x + 4x + 8

now add like term which is 2x and 4x

= x² + 6x + 8 Ans

2.) same way multiply this also

So, it will be x²y² - 4xy + 6xy - 30

Since there is - 4xy and + 6xy therefore , we will subtract them and use the sign of greater number

= x²y² +2 xy - 30 Ans

Answer:

1) x(x+2)+4(x+2)

= x²+2x+4x+8

=x²+6x+8

2). xy(xy-5)+6(xy-5)

=x²y²-5xy+6xy-30

=x²y²+xy-30
