(1) x + y = 6: x - y = 4​

Hello mate....

Given.......

x+y = 6 ......equation.1

x-y = 4 ......equation.2

Add the both equations 1 & 2

then we get

x+y+x-y = 6+4

2x = 10

x = 10/2

x = 5

"x" value substitue in equation.1 then we get "y" value......

5+y = 6

y = 6-5

y = 1

Checking substitute the values of x & y in equation.1

5+1 = 6

6 = 6
