GiveN :

  • R1 = 10 Ohm
  • R2 = 15 Ohm
  • Potential difference (V) = 10 V

To FinD :

  • Equivalent Resistance
  • Current flowing in circuit

SolutioN :

⇒1/R_{eq} = 1/R1 + 1/R2

⇒1/R_{eq} = 1/10 + 1/15

⇒1/R_{eq} = (3 + 2)/30

⇒1/R_{eq} = 5/30

⇒R_{eq} = 30/5

⇒R_{eq} = 6

➜ Equivalent resistance is 6 Ohms.

______________________

⇒V = IR

⇒10 = I*6

⇒I = 10/6

⇒ I = 1.67 A

➜ Current flowing in circuit is 1.67 Amperes.
