The given series are:

10, 13, 41, 85, ? , 195, 253

We have to find, the value of missing number (?) =

Solution:

The pattern follow:

Previous number + 3, Previous number + 28(3 + 5^{2}), Previous number + 44(28+ 4^{2}), Previous number + 53(44 + 3^{2}), .......

13 = 10 + 3 = 13

41 = 13 + (3 + 5^{2})

= 13 + 28 = 41

85 = 41 + (28 + 4^{2})

= 41 + 44 = 85

? = 85 + (44 + 3^{2})

= 85 + 53 = 138

195 = 138 + (53 + 2^2)

= 138 + 57 = 195

253 = 195 + (57 + 1^2)

= 195 + 58 = 253

∴ The missing number (?) = 138
