10. A 200 m long train crosses a 400 m bridge with a velocity of 36 km/h. Find the time taken by the
train to cross the bridge.

vishwakarmaajay9803: if u know the formula ie. time is equal to distance by velocity
vishwakarmaajay9803: and distance should be in meters
vishwakarmaajay9803: and velocity should be in m/s
vishwakarmaajay9803: then distance (d), velocity (v) and time(t)
vishwakarmaajay9803: then, t = d/v

solution

velocity =36 km/hr= 10 m/sec

total distance travelled to cross the bridge = (200+400)m =600m

velocity=distance/time

time = distance/velocity

= (600/10)sec

= 60 sec .
