Given, length of the wire for fencing = 300 m
Length = 2 x width.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since its in the form of a rectangular plot total length of the wire will become the perimeter of the plot.
Let width = x
Length will be = 2x
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(L+B)
2(x + 2x) = 300
x + 2x = 150
3x = 150
x = 50
Hence we got width as 50 m and length as 100 m.

Your answer !!
________________________________________
Let the length of plot be x
Length = 2 ( breadth )
Perimeter of rectangular plot = 2 ( L + B )
300 = 2 ( x + 2x )
300 = 2x + 4x
300 = 6x
x = 50
2 ( Breadth ) = 50
Breadth = 100cm
