10. (A) A solution of a substance X is used for testing carbon dioxide, what will be the
reaction of X with carbon dioxide? Write balanced chemical equation for this reaction.

Actually the solution of X is Ca(OH)2 used for testing CO2 which when reacted turns to milky white.. When calcium hydroxide reacts with CO2 it forms CaCO3 + H2O... so maximum X would be CaO and the solution is Ca(OH) 2
