Answer:

a = 0.22 m /s²

Explanation:

Initial velocity = u = 10 km /hr

= 10 x 5 /18

= 2.77777

= 2.8 m /s

Final velocity = v = 15 km / hr

= 15 x 5 / 18

= 4.16 m /s [ approx .]

Time = t = 6 sec

a = acceleration

Equation of motion :

v = u + at

4.16 = 2.8 + 6a

6a + 2.8 = 4.16

6a = 4.16 - 2.8

6a = 1.36

a = 1.36 / 6

a = 0.22 m /s²
