So the answer is c) 1 1/2 hours

Explanation;-
Given :-
Speed 60 km/h
Time :- 2 hours
Distance :- 60 x 2 = 120 km
So
No the car is covering the same distance
Speed = 80 km/h
Distance = 120 km
Time = Distance/ speed
Time= 120/80

Given,

  • Here we know that as the speed increases automatically time will be decreased.

So,

60 × 2 = 80 × x

x = 120/80

Then,

The speed the car should have to cover a distance is 3/2 or 1¹/5 hours.

60 × 2 = 80 × x

120 = 80 × 3/2
