10. A courtyard 25.5 m long and 16 m board is to be paved with bricks of length 34 cm and breadth 20 cm. Find the number of bricks required.

  • Here in this question first we have to find the area of the the courtyard and then divide it by the area of one brick.Now first convert meters into centimeters to properly calculate the ans.25m * 100 = 2500cm16m * 100 = 1600cmNow area of courtyard = 1600*2500=4000000Area of a brick = 20 * 10=200 So no. of bricks required would be 4000000/200=10000
