Answer:

\huge{\bold{\underline{Solution:-}}}

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height.

Given:-

Here, length = 14 cm,

breadth = 12 cm

and ,

height = 8 cm.

Solve:-

Volume of cuboid = 14 × 12 × 8 cubic cm.

 \implies = 1344 cubic cm.

Given:

A cuboid whose length is equal to its width has a  volume of 24 cubic feet., height of the cuboid is 1.5 feet.

To Find:

Length of the cuboid

Solution:

Let the length of the cuboid be 'l'

So, its width will also be equal to 'l' (Given)

Volume of cuboid = length x breadth x height

24 = l x l x 1.5

l² = (24/1.5) = 16

l = √16 = 4

Hence, the length of the cuboid is 4 feet.
