10. A cylindrical metal rod of radius 6.3 m and length 90 cm is melted and
recast into a cylindrical rod of radius 5.6 cm. How long is the new rod?​

Answer:

Volume of R1 = 6.3 * 6.3 * 22/7 * 90 = 11226.6cm³

New R2 or Rod has 5.6cm radius. hence Height will be V/r²π =

11226.6/5.6 * 5.6 * 22/7 = 113.90625cm³

Surface area=Lateral Surface area + Base area

=[2(l+b)h] +[l*b]

=5.45m2
